Our
bikes
|
|
 |
1)Yamaha Virago XV 535
My first motorbike after 14 years abstinence.
The Virago is a very solid bike but misfits
to my body size.
So my wife inherits it
and I
got a bigger chunk.
|
 2)Yamaha Dragstar XVS
650
The Dragstar has only 40 PS
(4 less than the Virago), but it was enough
to cruise relaxed through the Black Forest.
After 2 years and 15.000 km,
I recognized that a touring bike
would be better for my pretension.

| |
 3)Yamaha GTS 1000
The result was, that I saw the GTS, made
a test drive and knew, this is it.
A powerful engine with 4 cylinders.
A solid chassis and a comfortable sitting
convinced me.
My wife was also convinced in needing a new bike.
|

4)Kawasaki GPZ 500 S
So she chooses the GPZ with two cylinders.
Small engine with 64 PS but
agile enough, not to get lost on
our common tours.

5)Rest in peace
It has happened. The nightmare of
all bikers. Standing in the traffic jam,
a woman touched my backside with her
car. It was a total loss.
One week later the same red model
stood in the garage again.
|
| |
|
6)The new one
2 years older (1995) but less kilometers.
|
| |
7)Yamaha FJR 1300
Latest news: The GPZ 500 S
of my wife is history. She wanted a
stronger and a safer one.
Ok, now she drives a very
attractive FJR and perhaps
I´ll get sometimes the permission
to ride it too? |

8)
Triumph
Sprint ST 1050:
My latest capture.
A wonderful bike, very fast and comfortable.
The GTS is in my garage anyway.
